Abstract

The figures illustrate a case of a woman with acquired enhanced myometrial vascularity/arteriovenous malformation after vaginal delivery. The woman had a secondary postpartum hemorrhage 25 days after delivery and underwent bilateral selective uterine artery embolization. She had a history of hysteroscopic resection of a uterine septum. Figure 1 shows transvaginal three-dimensional (3D) ultrasound with color Doppler of the lesion before (solid arrow) and after (dotted arrow) uterine artery embolization.
