Abstract

Resume Therapeutics and influenza vaccination. Influenza viruses type A and B are responsible for seasonal influenza epidemics. The antigenic drift of the viruses explains that immunised people can be re-infected. Treatment is symptomatic of simple influenza but complements treatment with antivirals in patients at risk. Influenza control is based on influenza vaccination, which will tend to become increasingly personalised in the future.
