Abstract

The present work focuses on the presentation of synonymous relations in contrastive terms, as the basis for comparison, the so-called tertium comparison; two oppositional characteristics are accepted: rationality and intuition. With the help of integral semantic features, the fields of basic similarity are distinguished; but at the same time relevant interlinguistic differences stand out.
