Abstract

The contributors to this collection of essays, all of them staff members of or affiliated with the Titus Brandsma Institute in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, present various studies on aspects of the contents of Thomas a Kempis's De Imitatione Christi. Special attention is paid to the spirituality which Thomas works out in his masterpiece and which he wished to pass on to his contemporary intended audience.
