Abstract

Theoretical total and differential cross sections for the double electron transfer He2+He(1s2) to He(1s2)+He2+ are analysed by using the continuum distorted wave eikonal initial state (CDW-EIS) approximation. Comparisons with experimental results and with other theoretical models are presented. At high collision energies, the influence of double scattering intermediate states is investigated through the behaviour of differential cross sections.
