Abstract

When I finally completed my residency training in pediatrics and dermatology, my father — an internist himself — presented me with a copy of Eduard Ahlswede’s The Practical Treatment of Skin Diseases. He had discovered the edition in the library of his private practice office and thought it a fitting gift upon my graduation.

ABOUT THE GUEST EDITORS

Albert C.
