Abstract

AbstractThe year ending December 31st, 1929, has shown a continuance of the great public interest aroused by Sir James Roberts's generous gift of Haworth Parsonage into the keeping of the Bronte Society, on August 4th, 1928. As mentioned in the last report, the magnificent collection of Bronte relics presented by the late Mr. H. H. Bonnell, of Philadelphia, U.S.A., was unpacked and arranged by the Hon. Curator, Mr. J. A. Symington. During last sutnmer Mrs. Bonnell paid a visit to the Parsonage, and made some valuable suggestions concerning the arrangment of the exhibits.
