Abstract
Five more endemic western North American insect species are reported that feed upon the introduced weed tansy ragwort, Senecio jacobaea L., in California; their known host plant spectra are given. These additional species bring the total to 42 endemic or cosmopolitan oligophagous or polyphagous insects and mites that can survive on this plant. Two of the 5 species are in the Order Hemiptera, 1 in Lepidoptera, and 2 in Diptera.
