Abstract

This paper reports the calculation of the third-harmonic generation related to the electronic state of GaAs/Al0.3Ga0.7As spherical quantum dot under the action of Hulthén-Hellmann potential. This work is carried out in the case of matrix density theory and tunable effective mass, so as to calculate the electronic structure of the system through the diagonalization process. It is worth noting that numerical analysis shows that these third-order responses can be easily controlled by effective mass, quantum dot radius and limiting potential depth. We believe that this phenomenon is of great significance to the development of semiconductor materials and optoelectronic devices.
