Abstract

The trinuclear complex {(Me2In)2[NC5H4CMeNNC(S)NC6H5]2}(InMe) (3) has been prepared. X-ray analysis reveals that the two indium moieties are coordinated to the three nitrogen atoms in the ligand and the one indium moiety is attached to the two nitrogen and two sulfur atoms of the two ligands. The trinuclear nature and unusual distorted-square-pyramidal coordination geometry of the indium centers for 3 were confirmed through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analyses.
