Abstract

This paper is present the degradation of Mono crystalline Photovoltaic (PV) module, Poly crystalline PV module and Thin-film are 2 PV modules (CdTe) by short-term outdoor exposures testing at Bangkuntien, bangkok, Thailand. Every month are sampling measured in 180 days by Visual inspection test, Insulation test, Wet leaked test and Electric performance with Standard testing condition (STC). The results showed a Thin-film module failed in Wet leaked test of 60 days in outdoor exposures test. However, in finished test 180 day the maximum power (P max ) degradation Thin-film less than the crystalline module. In spite of the other research are report the crystalline PV module is power degradation less than thin-film module technology by crystalline structure condition. Therefore, the results of this research pave the way for an investigation of the advantages of thin-film modules on long-term degradation phenomena in significant research and development.
