Abstract
A thin window gas absorption apparatus suitable for experiments with a storage ring synchrotron radiation source is described. The apparatus has been used with the grazing incidence monochromator on the 4° beam line at the Stanford Synchrotron Radiation Laboratory in experiments studying K-edge absorption in small molecules containing carbon and nitrogen.
