Abstract

We address the suitability of optical techniques for in situ metallic film growth monitoring in integrated optic device fabrication. We show that these techniques can be adapted to measure a wide range of layer thickness, unlimited by metallic absorption and we present a brief study of double metallic layer systems not previously discussed in the literature.
