Highlights
Pueraria tuberosa is widely spread over China, Japan, India and Pakistan
Till to date there is no proper protocol for the regeneration of plantlets for use. This we have developed a protocol for the high frequency regeneration of plantlets from leaf and node derived callus of Pueraria tuberosa by using TDZ and IAA in MS medium with repeated subcultures
Callus induction: leaf and node explants of Pueraria tuberosa were cultured on MS medium fortified with 2, 4-D, NAA and IAA alone and incombination with BAP
