Abstract

ABSTRACT Thickness-stretching-based framework is implemented for the analysis of a double-curved nanosandwich by considering shear and normal strain components in three directions. Virtual work principles, including computation of the strain energy, the kinetic energy, and energy due to external works, are employed to derive governing equations. The piezomagnetic relations are used in curvilinear coordinate systems subjected to electromagnetic loads. Using displacement theory, the deflection is a combination of stretching, shear, and bending parts. The magneto-electromechanical results are presented with changes in significant input parameters in both tabular and graphical forms.
