Thickness Controlled Physical Properties of Chemically Synthesized Nanostructured Calcite Thin Films

Abstract

Calcite thin films on pre-cleaned glass substrate were deposited by a simple chemical dipping technique at room temperature by varying number of dips. The as prepared calcite thin films could be utilized for the controlled application of the complex carbonation process. This study presented nano flower like microstructure of the thin films. The petals of nanoflower of the thin films changes from sharp edges to blurred edged with increase in the growth of the thin films.
