Abstract
We have analysed intermediate resolution phase-resolved spectra of three post-common envelope binary (PCEB) systems; EC11575–1845, V664 Cas (in the planetary nebula HFG 1) and VW Pyx (in the planetary nebula K 1-2). All three have similar spectra, consisting of emission lines arising from the irradiated face of the secondary stars and absorption lines from the hot sdO primary stars. For V664 Cas we additionally find absorption lines from the secondary star at phases around Φ=0. For all three systems, the H I emission lines are very broad and have strong absorption near the line centre. In this presentation we will summarise the results of our analysis of the spectra for these systems. The final results will be published shortly in two Exter et al. papers.
