Abstract

The life history of Jack Sullivan, born on Argyle station in 1901 to a European father of the same name and a 'fullblood' Aboriginal woman of Djamindjung background, is presented. Jack is one of the few remaining 'old identities' of the East Kimberley. He talks about his early childhood and life in connection to the station and the Aboriginal community.
