Thermopower of two-dimensional channels and quantum point contacts in amagnetic field

Abstract

The thermopower of two-dimensional parabolic quantum wires and quantumcontacts in magnetic field is investigated. We obtain a convenient analytic formulafor the thermopower of these structures. The temperature dependence of thethermopower is studied and the influence of the magnetic field on thethermopower is examined. Oscillations in the thermopower are investigated.
