Abstract

Heterocyclic networks obtained by copolymerization of epoxy oligomer (ER) with different amounts of hexamethylene diisocyanate (HMDI) were characterized by IR-spectra, PVT measurements in the temperature interval 320 to 470 K and pressure range 15 to 90 MPa, and heat capacity in the temperature interval 150 to 470 K. Experimental data are discussed in terms of the variation of characteristic parameters of the Frenkel-Hirai-Eyring hole model with relative proportion of three-arm, six-membered isocyanourea heterocyles and two-arm, five-membered oxamolidone rings which changed with HMDI/ER ratio.
