Abstract

The mechanical properties, corrosion resistance and fracture behavior of precipitation-hardening aluminum alloys of different alloying systems are studied after a thermomechanical treatment with deformation in a wide temperature range. Application of deformation at the temperature of optimum aging in the thermomechanical treatment is shown to have a positive effect on the strength of the aluminum alloys at a low decrease in the ductility.
