Abstract

The thermoluminescent (TL) response of LiF:Mg,Ti (TLD-100) as a function of irradiation temperature (Tirr) was studied for different types of radiation such as 60Co gamma rays, 241Am gamma rays, positive pions (p+) and moderated PuBe neutrons. It was found that the TL response increases as the Tirr rises up to 120 oC and then decreases in a manner which is LET dependent.
