Abstract

Abstract The advanced micro-calorimetry and advanced thermokinetics software (AKTS) were employed to investigate the extraction thermokinetics of lithium extraction with the extractive systems [tri-isobutyl phosphate (TIBP) + ionic liquids (ILs) + kerosene] at (298.15, 308.15 and 323.15) K. The reaction heats of the system at different temperatures were experimentally determined, and the variation of reaction progresses and rates versus time were obtained for the two extractive systems at different temperatures. It was found that the reaction progress and extraction rate are accelerated while the extraction efficiencies of lithium ion are in reverse with the increasing of temperature. In addition, the activation energy and pre exponential factor for the two extractive systems are shifty regularly with the reaction progress.
