Abstract

Resistivity and thermopower (TEP) measurements in the temperature range 77K–300K of (Bi1.6 Pb0.4)Sr2Ca3(Cu1−x Six)4O12−δ bulk samples with 0≤x≤0.125 have been carrier out. An enhancement of the TEP near Tc as a function of doping level was observed. We interpret the excess TEP, assuming an electron-phonon contribution.
