Abstract

<p indent="0mm">The electrical and thermal transport properties of thermoelectric materials are affected and modulated by various microscopic scattering mechanisms, most of which are directly or indirectly related to lattice thermal vibrations. Neutron scattering techniques play crucial roles in the study of lattice dynamics in thermoelectric materials, particularly in some complicated cases such as electron-phonon coupling and the thermal vibration of the disordered lattice. The development of neutron scattering spectrometers in China will facilitate the further development of high-efficiency thermoelectric materials.
