Abstract

Based on the theory of fractional thermoelastic diffusion, a two dimensional problem for thermoelastic half space is considered. The upper surface of the half space is taken to be traction free and subjected to ramp type heating. Integral transform technique and a direct approach method are used to obtain the solution in the transformed domain. Numerical inversion techniques are used to obtain the inverse double transforms. The effect of Tempered-Caputo fractional derivative is studied. Numerical results are discussed and represented graphically.
