Abstract

A variant of the finite-shear theory was used to determine more accurately the functions of distribution of transverse tangential stresses over the thickness of a multilayered packet with the thermal sensitivity of the layer material taken into account. The results are presented of investigations of one-, three-, and five-layer cylindrical shells produced from thermally sensitive materials, under a local temperature effect.
