Abstract

Using the Gibbs thermodynamic method, thermodynamic functions describing the consolidation in a three-phase system, which consists of particles of phases 1 and 2 and mobile phase 3, and an expression for the shrinkage pressure that generates during the consolidation have been derived. On the strength of these thermodynamic functions criteria have been suggested that allow one to predict the structure of a composite heterophase material.
