Abstract

The N-component Bariev model for correlated hopping in one dimension is investigated within the framework of Bethe's ansatz. The thermodynamic Bethe ansatz equations are derived based on the string hypothesis for both, a repulsive and an attractive interaction. These equations are discussed in several limiting cases, such as the ground state, high temperature limit, and weak and strong coupling.
