Abstract

The standard enthalpies of combustion and formation of crystalline glycyl-L-leucine are calculated. The heats of dissolution of crystalline glycyl-L-leucine in water and potassium hydroxide solutions at 298.15 K are determined via direct calorimetry. The standard enthalpies of formation of the peptide and the products of its dissociation in aqueous solution are calculated.
