Abstract

AbstractIn this review we evaluate many of the experimental techniques for measurement of polymer solvent interaction thermodynamics, placing special emphasis on the interaction between plasticizers and semicrystalline materials. Methods are reviewed for measurement of heat and volume of mixing, Flory‐Higgins interaction parameter (chi), virial coefficients, and empirical compatibility measurements.
