Abstract
Vapor—liquid equilibria and excess molar enthalpies of alkanoic acid mixtures with hydrocarbons are calculated using the UNIQUAC associated solution model with the pure-acid dimerization constants obtained from a previous paper. The calculated results give good agreement with the experimental values for the acid mixtures with hydrocarbons.
