Abstract

The enthalpies of complexation of the Sm3+ and Ce3+ ions with L-leucine at 298.15 K and an ionic strength of 0.5 (KNO3) have been determined by the calorimetric method. The thermodynamic characteristics of complexation of lanthanide ions with amino acids have been calculated. The potentiometric method was used to determine the stability constants of cerium and samarium complexes with the L-leucinate ion at 298.15 K and an ionic strength of 0.5 (KNO3).
