Abstract

In this work we implement the recent proposed vacuum magnetic regularization (VMR) scheme to the two flavor Polyakov–Nambu–Jona-Lasinio model in order to describe some basic thermodynamic properties such as the pressure, entropy and energy density. We show that this procedure allows the evaluation of the renormalized magnetization, which agrees with LQCD data. Potential physical differences are also explored when other three possible regularization schemes are adopted to describe the chiral condensate.
