Abstract
The c.m. longitudinal momentum spectra for Kp → π + anything have been calculated from the thermodynamical model using the velocity weight function of Hagedorn and Ranft found in pp interactions. Comparison with experimental data show that the c.m. forward backward asymmetry of the π-spectra is reproduced by the calculations.
