Abstract

The Associated Solution model has been applied to the modelling of the liquid phase in the Cr-O, Fe-O and Ni-O systems. An assessed set of coefficients enables accurate reproduction of available experimental information and realistic prediction of phase equilibria at higher temperatures. The oxygen solubility in the bcc and fcc solution phases has been described using a two-sublattice model.
