Abstract

The activity coefficients of KCl in the KCl−CoCl2−H2O system were estimated at constant total ionic strengths of 0.5, 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 mol-kg−1 and at 25°C. The data has been analyzed using the Harned, Scatchard, Reilly, Wood and Robinson and the Pitzer equations. The solubilities of KCl in these mixtures at 25°C were also analyzed.
