Abstract
The heat capacity of single crystals of the Ca1 − x Er x F2 + x (x = 0.05, 0.10) and Ca0.95Yb0.05F2.05 fluorite solid solutions was determined by adiabatic calorimetry in the temperature range 55–300 K. The results were used to obtain temperature dependences of the Debye characteristic temperature, entropy, and enthalpy for the solid solutions.
