Abstract

Heat capacities of 1-methyl-4-nitro-1,2,3-triazole (1MeT) between (5 and 370) K have been measured by adiabatic calorimetry, and parameters of its solid-phase transition have been obtained. The standard thermodynamic properties of the 1MeT in the condensed state have been evaluated over the range of (0 to 370) K. Saturated vapor pressures for crystalline 1MeT have been determined by the Knudsen effusion method in the temperature range from 329 to 363 K. The standard enthalpy and entropy of sublimation of the compound have been calculated.
