Abstract

Abstract The determination of adsorption thermodynamics at low CO2 partial pressure is of great significance. The Langmuir–Freundlich model is used to fit the adsorption isotherms of activated carbon (AC) and amine-modified AC. The isosteric heat and average heat of CO2 adsorption on AC are calculated. The result could benefit the subsequent process development and equipment energy optimization.
