Abstract

AbstractThermodynamic characteristics are calculated for a two‐band HTSC where superconducting pairing is caused by the dominating interband Coulomb interaction. From the expansion of free energy near Tc in powers of two gap order parameters the expressions for entropy, specific heat with its jump at T = Tc and Hc are derived. A comparison of the calculated values of ΔC/Tc, ΔC/Cn for La2−xSrxCuO4+δ and Y1Ba2Cu3O7, with the experimental ones is made. The theoretical dependence of ΔC on the hole concentration is obtained.
