Abstract

We studied the magnetic and thermodynamic behaviors of an edge-modified Kekulene monolayer using the Monte Carlo method and established the Ising model with the mixed spins of 2 and 5/2. The function curves of temperature on magnetization, susceptibility, internal energy, and specific heat induced by various physical parameters are discussed respectively. The relationship between blocking temperature and various physical parameters is obtained. We also clarify the role of crystal field, exchange coupling and temperature on the hysteresis loops.
