Abstract
The phase diagram and thermodynamic data of the Pt–Sn (Platinum–Tin) system have been assessed by the CALPHAD technique. A set of self-consistent thermodynamic model parameters is presented to describe the phase equilibria of the system. The intermediate phases are modeled as stoichiometric compounds. The calculated phase diagram and thermodynamic properties using the optimized model parameters agree very well with the experimental data.
