Abstract
Under moderately high oxygen pressure (90 bar, 950 °C), two new compounds appear in the YBaCuO system: Ba 2Cu 3O 5+δ and Y 2Ba 9Cu 6O z. The former undergoes a phase transition near 6 K as observed by specific heat and magnetic susceptibility measurements.
