Abstract

The enthalpies of solution of Fe(III), Mn(III) complexes with porphyrins of the chlorophyllgroup (chlorophyll ligand, pheophorbid, chlorin e6) and protoporphyrin in various organic solvents at298.15 K were determined calorimetrically. The influence of the structural features of porphyrin molecules and nature of the solvent on the enthalpy characteristics of porphyrin-solvent interaction was discussed.
