Abstract

Using the formula of thermo-electric power for the local pair model, based on the two-component model of high-T c superconductivity, we study the experiments of thermo-electric power of several kinds of high-T c oxide superconductors and find that this model can give a general explanation of the thermo-electric power phenomena of high-T c oxide superconductors. According to the study of thermo-electric power of HgBa 2 CuO 4+δ and HgBa 2 CaCu 2 O 6+δ, we consider that the physical properties of underdoped and optimum doped samples are analogous, which are different from overdoped samples. The property of overdoped samples approaches to that of the conventional metal.
