Abstract

The thermal utilization in cylindrical fuel rod lattices is determined by modified integral transport theory. No recourse need be made to geometrical cell transformations which lead to large errors in tight lattices. The method is very rapid and easy to use, and the results, in tight lattices, are comparable in accuracy to Monte Carlo calculations.
