Abstract

Cobalt, copper and cadmium xanthinate tetrahydrates have been prepared in aqueous medium, and characterized on the basis of elemental analysis, IR and 1HNMR studies. The thermal behaviour of these compounds has been studied using TG, DTG and DSC techniques. Heats of dehydration have been calculated from DSC curves.
