Abstract

The chemical composition and physico-chemical properties of fresh and used Co Mo/Al 2O 3 catalysts from industrial reactors were investigated. It was shown that prolonged usage and repeated regenerations lead to appreciable changes in porous structure, mechanical strength, acidity and distribution of the active metals in the grain of the catalysts. The chemical composition of the catalyst and the structure of the support changed insignificantly during use.
