Abstract

The thermal degradation of isocyanate modified cellulose acetate has been studied by dynamic thermogravimetric analysis in air. The activation energy of decomposition of these modified polymers has also been determined from differential thermal analysis thermograms. The data indicate that the cellulose acetate urethane polymers are thermally stable.
